It is my pleasure to officially introduce myself as the next superintendent of the Stewartsville C-2 School District. I would like to thank the Board of Education for placing their trust in me to help lead the continuous growth and success of the Stewartsville C-2 School District. It is a true privilege to be serving the staff, students, parents and community of Stewartsville as we work together to continue to upgrade facilities and provide the best educational opportunities possible for our students.
I am bringing with me to the Stewartsville C-2 School District 18 years of teaching and leadership experience. My educational career began in 2004 when I was teaching chemistry and coaching at Winnetonka High School in the North Kansas City School District. Ten years later, I made the transition to leadership in the Cameron R-1 School District. I served as the assistant high school principal for three years and have been serving as the principal for the past five years. I am extremely proud of my educational career and the accomplishments we were able to achieve. I look forward to working with you to ensure the Stewartsville C-2 School District continues to progress and always do what is best for our students.
Personally, I grew up in a small rural school district about 20 minutes from here and understand the importance small schools have in their communities and the personable educational experiences they provide students. I have three school-aged children and a very supportive wife of almost 18 years. We are very excited for this new opportunity.
