Fall Parent Teacher Conferences have arrived! We look forward to seeing you tonight, 10/17, from 3:30-6:30 pm or Thursday, 10/19, from 1-7 pm.
Our cafeteria gals do a great job of providing healthy school lunch to our students! This week was National School Lunch Week. The program was created in 1962 to promote the importance of a healthy lunch in a child's life and the impact it has inside and outside of the classroom.
We will celebrate our Senior football and softball players, band members, and cheerleaders during the home football game on Thursday, October 19th! Seniors and their parents should meet under the Crow's Nest at 6 pm to line up. We will recognize the seniors at 6:15 pm.
Wear your pink tonight for the PINK OUT! We have the football fundraiser tonight as well!

Senior night 2023! Thank you seniors for your leadership and dedication to our softball program. We are proud of what you've accomplished on the field but more excited about what you do next. Finish the season strong.
The Stewartsville School District will be hosting our 2nd Community Engagement Meeting at the school next Tuesday, October 10th at 5:30 pm. We had some great conversations at our last meeting and are looking to build from the ideas shared back in June. We hope you are able to make it!
Congratulations to Mr. Welter and the Cardinal Pride Band for their 1st place finish in Carrollton last Saturday. That performance was Mr. Welter's 1004th career win. Thank you for your long term commitment and dedication to the Stewartsville students and community. The Cardinal Pride Band will be at Missouri Western's Homecoming Parade tomorrow to try and add the total wins. Good luck!
High school students traveled to Maysville this morning for a Mock Accident Docudrama put on by the Dekalb County Sheriff’s Office. Students were reminded to buckle up, put the phone down, and drive sober during the presentation. Thank you to Sergeant Hux of the Missouri Stare Highway Patrol, Buchanan County EMS, Dekalb County Sheriff and deputies, and local first responders for the presentation. We all have a choice to be responsible while driving!
If you recognize any of these items, please claim them in the office. After Wednesday, October 4th, these items will go to the trash or the lost and found area at the school.

From#TheNest: The Dekalb County Sherriff's office is presenting a Docudrama of a Full Scale Accident Scenario for all high school students in Dekalb County at the Maysville R-1 School District on Friday, September 29th @ 9:00 am. The Docudrama is to make young drivers aware of the the possible consequences of distracted driving and to encourage safe driving practices. We will bus our 9-12 grade students to and from the Docudrama. If you want your student to opt out of the accident scenario, please notify the office by 3 pm today, Wednesday, September 27th.

The Stewartsville C-2 School District would like to thank Missouri American Water for the Hydration Station grant. We received $1500 to replace old water fountains with new filtered bottle filling stations. The district was able to purchase and replace two drinking fountains with filtered bottle filling stations early this school year.
