Game Notice: The OSHS JH and HS Softball teams will play in Maysville on 9/23 at 5:00pm. There are two fields so they will be playing at the same time. JV will play after the varsity game. The bus will leave Stewartsville at 3:30 and pick up Osborn on the way. Good luck ladies! Go WildCards!

SCH Photography will be at Stewartsville on Friday, September 13th for school picture day! Picture packets were sent home with elementary students last week and will be sent home with JH/HS students today. Pictures may also be ordered online at www.schphoto.net. To order JH/HS pictures online, use passcode: 7053. To order elementary pictures online, use passcode: 7107. Senior composites will not be taken this day! They are scheduled for November 12th.
Individual and Class Picture Day--Friday, September 13
The JH/HS softball games at Dekalb on Tuesday, September 10th will start at 5:00pm. Dekalb has two fields so the JH and Varsity softball teams will both play at the same time. The plan is to play 3 innings of JV following the varsity game pending on daylight. Dekalb does not have lights. The bus will leave Osborn at 3:15pm and pick up Stewartsville on the way.

Our OSHS JH Football team will travel to Burlington Junction to play the Nodaway Valley Thunder on Monday 9/9 at 5:00 pm. The bus will leave Osborn at 2:45pm and pick up Stewartsville on the way. Fans can park in the east parking lots and come in the Main Entrance up the stairs. Handicapped parking will be accessed on the north end of the parking lot. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for students, and senior citizens are free. GO WildCards!
The OSHS WildCards Softball Team plays Platte Valley in Stewartsville today! The varsity game begins at 5:00 pm with 3 innings of JV to follow. Come out and support our WildCards!
OSHS Athletic passes are available to purchase in the front office. Family passes are $125 and student passes are $30. Passes are good for admission to all home events and must be presented at the gate. Note: passes may be purchased at the gate as well. Go WildCards!
The OSHS WildCards HS Football team will be playing Friday, August 23rd in the SJCS High School Football Jamboree at 7:00pm. Admission is $4.00 for adults, $3:00 for students, and $2.00 for Seniors
The Stewartsville/Osborn Coop in partnership with Cameron Regional Medical Center are taking a proactive approach to manage the effects of a concussion, by promoting baseline testing of your student-athlete who participate in athletics.
The CRMC Sports Medicine team will be performing baseline testing on Monday, August 19th and 2:30pm in Osborn and Stewartsville. If you are interested in your athlete having the baseline test, please complete the consent form and download the SWAY app on their phone. The cost will be $20, cash or checks made out to Cameron Regional Medical Center are accepted.
As we near the beginning of school, I need to update you on our bussing situation. We general run 3 pick up routes in the morning and 3 drop off routes in the afternoon. We had a driver move at the end to the school year last year leaving us with 2 route drivers. We do have a driver being trained but will not be ready to drive for the start of the school year. We will be combining our 3 routes into 2 to pick up all of our out of time bus riders. We will NOT be picking up or dropping off in town students to begin the school year. We anticipate this being temporary as our goal is to have our driver trained and driving a route shortly after Labor Day. Lisa Farr, our bus director, will have a table in the lobby at our Back to School Night if you have questions. If you or know of anyone interested in becoming a sub driver, please contact the school. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your flexibility and understanding.

The shuttle will begin on the first day of school, Tuesday, August 20th. All JH students wanting to play must have a completed physical turned into the office before they can practice. With the start of school just around the corner, that means Fall sports will begin soon. We would like to share some important dates with you. We will follow MSHSAA's Athletic Dead Week from August 3rd thru August 11th. That means there cannot be any team activities during this time. The first day of HS fall sports practice can begin on Monday, August 12th and JH fall sports practice can begin on Monday, August 19th. REMINDER: you must have a physical turned into the office before the first day of practice. If you are having a difficult time getting into a doctor for a physical, you can call Cameron Regional Medical Center at 816-649-3362 and ask for Shona or Rich. CRMC provides athletic trainer services to our OSHS co-op and will get your athlete into their office for a physical. Be sure to have the 2 required MSHSAA pre-participation forms when you go.
