Students and staff are invited to kick off Sunshine Week by dressing for the sunshine on Monday, April 13th. The weather is going to be beautiful, making it the perfect day to "Light Up Someone's Day".
The Sunshine Club is also collecting art supplies for Children's Mercy Hospital. These items help children and their families pass the time during their stay and serve as a way to comfort and calm individuals during unexpected and difficult times. The Sunshine Club is collecting items to help spread sunshine to those who can use it the most ☀️ Students can drop off their donations in the provided box in the lobby.

Today is Paraprofessional Appreciation Day; the perfect opportunity to recognize that our school is stronger because of our paraprofessionals. They do the quiet, constant work that keeps classrooms running and kids supported. They show up every day ready to help, jump in, and do what’s best for students.
Paraprofessionals bring steadiness, patience, humor, and heart into spaces that truly need all four. So much of what goes right in a school happens because a para made it happen.
Take a minute to recognize and thank them. Thank them. Let them know their work matters and their presence makes a difference.

Students who would like to wear a hat may do so for $2, payable upon arrival at school.
Students will receive a sticker once payment is made.
