Shout out to our elementary students of the week, Ansley and Marek.
Ansley has been a rockstar the first few weeks of school . She is always looking for ways to help others and has been engaged in her learning.
Marek has also been an awesome student the first few weeks of school. He has been kind and respectful to his teacher and classmates and is always ready to learn.
Shout out to our secondary students of the week, Leo and Elliot.
Leo and Elliot have both been doing an wonderful job in their A+ mentoring hour. They have been helping Mr. Noyes with some younger classes in the gym and have been engaged with and helpful to the students they are working with. They have demonstrated wonderful leadership skills.
And last, but certainly not least... Shout out to our Fans of the Week - Ella and Mr. & Mrs. Modlin!
Ella showed dedication and perseverance and as she "and" Stewart the Cardinal cheered on the Wildcard Football team at the Jamboree last Friday Night in the heat!
Mr. & Mrs. Modlin also brought the fun, energy, and positive vibes while cheering on our team at the Jamboree.
The 2025-2026 School Year is already off to an OUTSTANDING start! We are so grateful and proud of all our Cardinals!

The WildCards Football team will travel to King City Friday night to play the King City Wildkats. Kickoff is at 7:00 PM. We hope you can make it out and support our OSHS football team. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for students, seniors (65+) are free. Good luck and Go WILDCARDS!!!

Ryleigh was thoughtful and a wonderful friend, she helped a classmate clean up from lunch.
Mavon demonstrated leadership and was an awesome role model for our younger students. He help the door open for littles at morning drop off and greeted them as they came into the school.
We are so proud of our students and the kindness they show each and every day.

The OSHS WildCards Softball team will play in the jamboree in Stanberry on Saturday, August 23rd. The WildCards will play at 9:00, 10:00, & 11:00 am. Bus will leave Osborn at 7:00 am and pick up Stewartsville on the way. Good luck and Go WildCards!!!
The OSHS WildCards Football team will travel to St. Joseph Christian this Friday night, August 22nd to play in the Jamboree. The Wildcards will kickoff at 7:00pm. Each team will run 18 offensive plays per quarter.

KC East Lions (Red), OSHS WildCards (White), St. Joseph Christian School (Black).

Next Tuesday, August 12th, Cameron Regional Medical Center will be at Osborn at 2:30pm for any athlete wanting to do the baseline concussion testing. Athletes would need to download the SWAY Medical app on their phone before arriving if possible. This should keep the testing moving efficiently. The district will cover the cost for athletes' testing.

The 1st day of HS Fall Sports practices will look a little different than in the past! To kick off a new era for our HS football and softball teams, we will be having a MIDNIGHT MADNESS practice on Monday, August 11th at 12:01 AM. Both teams will hold practice in Stewartsville under the stadium lights. We would invite anyone that would like to watch the first practice of the season at our MIDNIGHT MADNESS to come out and support our teams.
The Falls Sports No Contact Period is upon us! Enjoy your week before the official first day of HS Fall Sports practices on Monday, August 11th. Reminder: You must have a current sports physical on file with the front office before you are eligible to practice. If you are still needing a physical, CRMC is offering physicals on the 11th and 12th. Please see the attached flyer.

State Assessment Results Distribution Information
Dear Parent/Guardian,
We hope you are enjoying a safe and restful summer! We want to share information regarding when state assessment results will be distributed for your student.
Students entering grades 4–6 will receive their state assessment results during fall parent-teacher conferences.
Students entering grades 7–12 will receive their results during student device pick up on August 12th..
If you are unable to attend student device pick up on August 12th, your student’s assessment results will be mailed to the address we have on file.
