We are excited to welcome Mrs. Rachael Parkey to #THENEST as our next PK-12 Principal! Her passion, dedication, and experience will serve our school community very well!
Hello, Cardinals! I am honored to introduce myself, Rachael Parkey, as the 2023-24 Stewartsville PK-12 Principal. I grew up in the small town of Wheeling, MO. I have been an educator for 16 years serving as a high school mathematics teacher and instructional coach. In 2007, I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Missouri Valley College and my Master of Science in Education in K-12 Educational Leadership in 2019.
My teaching career began as a mathematics instructor at the Raymore-Peculiar Freshman Center in 2007, before moving to teach at my high school alma mater in Chillicothe, MO. In 2014, my family relocated to Cameron, MO. When we moved, I began as a high school mathematics teacher at Cameron High School and in 2019, I was named the PreK-5 Instructional Coach for the Cameron R-1 School District.
I currently live in Cameron, MO, with my husband, Chris, and three children, Vivian (10), Gavin (8), and Ivan (6). I enjoy spending time with my family, watching my kids participate in sports, being outdoors, reading, and running. My most recent personal accomplishment was running my first marathon. I am grateful for the opportunity and eager to serve the staff, students, and community members in the Stewartsville C-2 School District. We are going to have an exciting 2023-24 school year at #THENEST!

Due to a district baseball game that has been scheduled over our Decision Day and Senior Walkout, we've had to make some adjustments to our plan. We will now begin Decision Day at 11:00 and have Senior Walkout at 12:00 on Friday, May 12 (same day, new time). We appreciate your flexibility as we work to ensure all of our seniors get to participate!

JH Track Parents, please take a look at this information from N. Platte:
We have a bridge out North of our school on Y.
It shouldn’t be too long to get around though.
If coming from 116, You’ll need to take 65th (go south or turn left) on 116 it’ll run into MASONIC and head back (west or turn right)
Then you should be right by the school.
Should only add potentially like a minute or 2 to your trip
MB and Osborn/Stewartsville, if you take the interstate, you'll be fine. But please pass along that message.
