We are excited to inform you that our district will be receiving our new staff computers and classroom SmartBoards this coming Friday, October 16, 2020. To complete the installation and training process by the time students return to The Nest on Tuesday, October 20, we will be using an early release on Friday. Students will be released on Friday, October 16, at 12:30 pm with busses running their regular afternoon routes. We thank you for your cooperation, and please plan accordingly.
Due to a water main break yesterday, all of Stewartsville has been placed under a boil order. Water filling stations will be unavailable until the order is removed. Please plan accordingly.

On behalf of the DeKalb County School Districts (Union Star R-2, Osborn R-0, Stewartsville C-2, and Maysville R-1 ), we want to thank our County Commission made up of 3 fantastic gentlemen, Presiding Commissioner: Kyle Carroll, West District Commissioner: Kyle White, and East District Commissioner: Gary McFee for their continuous support of our school communities and the county as a whole. Their willingness to work for the betterment of our students, staff, and teachers is allowing us the ability to utilize county CARES ACT funds to make substantial improvements to our facilities, upgrade outdated technology, and secure needed supplies to help each of us with our COVID-19 mitigation plans.

Due to the vandalism of our softball field, tonight's Home Softball Games vs. DeKalb have been POSTPONED until Monday, September 28. All of tonight's softball practices will be held in Stewartsville.
